Founded in 2024, Atlanta Aces Lacrosse Club (AALC) is a premier girls' travel lacrosse club based in Atlanta, Georgia. AALC was established to provide a high-quality lacrosse experience for players across the Metro Atlanta area. Our mission is to foster player development, build a supportive community, and instill a team-first mindset.
The Aces focus on developing players both on and off the field, helping them reach their full potential in lacrosse and beyond. Our program emphasizes core values of integrity, teamwork, and fun, which creates a culture that players, parents, and coaches are proud to be part of.

Our Team

Eric Thelen (Club GM)
A former D1 defender at Lehigh University and team captain at Clemson, Eric brings high-level playing and coaching experience to every team. As a leader with Heroes Lacrosse, Dirty Birds, and Walton Select, he’s passionate about building strong team culture and developing the next generation of players.

VINCE WALCH (CLUB ADVISOR)
Since 2016, Vince has coached lacrosse across Atlanta, leading teams to a state title, Final Four run, and building Dirty Birds Lacrosse into a 200+ family program with multiple college commits. He’s certified by US Lacrosse, GHSA, and GMSA, and is known for developing players and growing the game.

Mar-naye Whittaker (Director)
With 10+ years of coaching experience, Coach Mar-Naye is the Defensive Coordinator at Lovett and a leader in player development. Originally from Saint Louis, she studied at the University of Mount Olive and Kennesaw State. Dedicated to growing the game, she supports feeder programs statewide.

Joe walker (Director)
A Platinum Certified Coach with 7 years of experience, Coach Joe has led teams from middle school to varsity, including as Program Head at The Walker School. With expert stick-stringing skills and a passion for player development, he’s ready to help you level up!
